Make Your Blog More Interesting!

Dear netpreneur friends,

I browsed the internet and stumbled upon these tips to make your blog more interesting. I haven't applied all of it, but I did apply a few of them already. It works!

Read on!

1. Put photos on your blog
Like an advertisement, you can make your blog speak with photos you upload to add interest to your readers.

2. You can add video clips
Try to embed code using your myspace.com account.

3. Syndicate your contents
It is important because some readers want a simple and easy format so it is wise to install it too.
You can use the more popular RSS format at feedbutton.com, the one button rss feed to syndicate your blog.

5. Provide space for your readers to give you feedback by checking your blog setting and modify this to allow posts. Of course, leave a reminder, that they are free to post contrary comments as long as they do it in a polite and considerate manner.

6. If you use WordPress, a server-installed, open-source (free) state-of-the-art semantic personal publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability, try their email notification plug-in. This plug-in notifies your subscribers of your blog posts through email.

7. Trackback is a great blog feature, for it allows for a continuing conversation between you and bloggers of similarly themed blogs. When you comment on another blog posting in your blog instead of in that blog's comments page, the trackback link connects these posts so the thread isn’t lost.

8. Invite other blogger to post to your blog

All of these tips, software or plug-ins will help you illustrate your point in a fun and interesting way. But you should remember content is king on the net (though this statement is not entirely true in some cases). These devices are not substitutes for great content, which is what really what drives traffic to your blog.

How many page views do you reckon it takes to make $100 a day? I agree the first cent shows the system is working. I'm running five blogs so I know it's not easy. I came across yours as iy was the next blog; I often look at the next blog before signing off.

Hi, Mr. Rozier. Thank you for your comment. From what I read on google adsense, they pay us USD 0.01 (1 cent) for every 100 page impressions (meaning 100 page views). In my opinion, to earn more revenue, we should focus to have quality content posted to our blogs & make sure our blogs are frequently updated. That way, people will be interested enough to read the articles, and willing to find further information by clicking the google ads or using the google search engine on our blogs. It'll be a lot more effective than concentrating on how many page views you get. Yet, we should always try to generate more and more traffic to our blogs. I usually posted articles to some sites (e.g. ezinearticles.com), send messages to my friends (e.g. friendster.com, myspace.com), and of course add my url to search engines. So far, it has been working OK for me. Thanks & keep yourself posted to my blogs! Cheers!
